For the period July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027.
The OSRP is the only association in Ontario dedicated exclusively to RPs, keeping focus on our unique needs in the mental-health field.
We appreciate your continued membership and hope that you invite your colleagues to join us with a membership invitation! To send one of these out, we've also created an email template for your convenience.
As our association grows in numbers, so does our capacity to do more for RPs in communities across Ontario.
Membership Bursaries
The financial cost of belonging to a professional association can put professional support, development, and community out of reach.
OSRP recognizes that economic marginalization under current social and economic conditions disproportionately impacts working class psychotherapists, students, and prospective members, limiting access to professional development, community, and participation in the field. When access is restricted by cost, it reinforces class inequality within the profession and weakens the collective capacity of psychotherapists.
Financial Access Bursary
In response to economic marginalization under current social and economic conditions, OSRP has established an annual Financial Access Bursary in 2026 to support working class members, prospective members, RP(Q)s, and psychotherapy students facing economic hardship. The bursary will be awarded to a total of three recipients.
BIPOC Membership Bursary
OSRP also continues its commitment as an anti-racist organization. We recognize there is a tremendous need for more BIPOC psychotherapists in Ontario. We are committed to helping make that happen!
Since 2021, OSRP has awarded bursaries to nine BIPOC members. This year, we have expanded our BIPOC Membership Bursary to support fifteen BIPOC RPs, RP(Q)s, and psychotherapy students.
This Bursary is open to the following OSRP membership categories:
- Student Member
- Qualifying Member
- Clinical Member
